When I first became a Christian, I wrote the Scriptures quite literally on the doorpost of my bedroom and the ceiling above my bed. I didn’t do this because someone told me to. I hadn’t even read Deuteronomy yet to see that instruction. I wrote the Word everywhere, because I was compelled. I had read and encountered the Words of Life. I would never be the same.

My life has been marked as I’ve set myself to plumb the depths of the greatness of Jesus, the nature of the Lord, and the expansiveness of the Gospel. My early years of college were most memorable in discovering the balm of Truth as I sat for hours reading Scripture. I resolved that I wanted to live my life according to these words, nothing more and (especially) nothing less than what they offered.

We’ve all experienced moments of wondering if the hope of the Gospel actually impacts my life. I created an e-course diving into the Prison Letters of the New Testament for this reason.  When Paul is imprisoned for the sake of this robust, glorious Gospel, what hope and instruction does he offer the Church? Join me with more than four hours of teaching, a 40-page e-book with notes and encouragement!
